I expected it to tower and dominate the London skyline, it was tiny in comparison to the image I had in my mind. I had a similar experience on holiday. I visited NASA and saw the space ships up close. They are so small. These technological engineering innovations have taken mankind into space. They have hurled individuals out of earth’s gravity and allowed us to explore. Again the size of these and the confines in which the astronauts had to work in is mind blowing. It gives you a whole new appreciation of their accomplishment.
I indulged myself a little on holiday. You know I like films and I love Star Wars. Following one of the many trips on the Star Tours ride I got a picture taken where my face was superimposed on Ewan McGregor’s stance, it was the scene where Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn were trying to break into the control room of the Trade Federation’s Mother Ship. That was just me being a little self-indulgent, sorry. I bought one other thing in the shop. A T-Shirt with the words of Yoda on the front, “Judge Me By My Size, Do You?”
